Dermaplaning removes the outer most layers of dead skin cell and the facial hairs or “peach fuzz” leaving the skin immediately smooth, supple, and vibrant. It is a non-traumatic method of skin rejuvenation and hair removal.
Pros & Cons: Most of the clients are eligible to get the Dermaplaning treatment. Even clients who had Dermatologist prescribed medicines or services like peels can have the Dermaplaning treatment. Only precaution is the Technician should have at least a year experience performing Dermaplaning treatment. Even to perform on the nose the technician should have at least 6 months to one year of experience to perform right job. Also remember to do very topican to these conditions.
What You Will Learn
The key to performing this treatment safe and effectively is to remember to keep the blade held at a 45 degree angle at all times. This will ensure a clean manual exfoliation as well as a smooth surface free from facial hairs. Stretching the skin is very important to prevent any cuts or scratches on the skin. Another key point is the direction in which you stroke the blade, reflect back to training for the most accurate way to removes dead skin and facial hair.
